The scene at the end always brings a tear to my eye, and questions racial perceptions / stereotypes that we all carry.

or,

Its not "feel good" but its my most watched film & i normally only watch films once (its best enjoyed with an ale).

"Feel Good"? Well, you'll need Forest Gump then.

The Station Agent

+1 on both of those.

Otherwise go for some gritty crime escapism - The Departed. I flippin love that film...

Try a Billy Wilder comedy. I've always liked 'Avanti', even though it was not reckoned to be amongst his best films by the critics, but there are plenty of others to choose from, like 'Some Like it Hot' and 'The Fortune Cookie'.

All Is Lost

Not exactly a feel good movie but an incredible single handed performance by Robert Redford.
