Seeking advice as I need to replace my well used and loved tent that I use for music festivals.
Requirements
3 person (so 2 are comfortable!)
Outside put up first with inner clipped in.
Preferably done rather than tunnel.
Decent covered outer area.
I’ve found one which pretty much matches my requirements (and is pretty much an updated version of my current one ( https://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/16231964/eurohike-avon-3-dlx-nightfall-tent-16231964) but it’s bloomin heavy and would like something a bit easier to carry if possible.
Something from Decathlon is the answer!

Not sure I’d class under 6kg as bloomin heavy either. Any lower and you’re into expensive kit that I’d not want to take to a festival.
Up in 10 minutes and drinking a beer whilst everyone else curses their poles. Survives gales well also. Someone else on here has the same. 4 person, sleeps 2 nicely - 4 would be a push. Not light though, but I have one of these....

I've the 'poled' version of that Decathlon tent and I can manage to put it up by myself quite easily, takes about 20 minutes with a bit of practice.
Works great for me and my two kids.

go by dimensions rather than ‘persons’ as a unit or measurement. I have a ‘3 man’ north face tent that’s a whole 10cm wider than the two man version 🙂

I've one of those, it's great for benign car camping and festivals. Mine isn't the nightfall and was about £60 - at that price point it's excellent value. I wouldn't pay over £100 for it though.
