Thinking about buying a Fenix LED torch, something like a PD31 with a blocklock handlebar mount.
Anyone know if there are any deals about...?

Better value would probably be a torch from DealExtreme.
Fenix are very good, but not cheap. I'd go for a couple of these:

The Fishlock blocks are significantly more expensive.

BTW - it might be just me but, when ever I try & get on that DX site, it's down.
I got a fenix in Maplins about £30 with charger and spare battery but no bar mount got one of them for about £8 on the net. I ve lost the box and cant remember what fenix I got but its been good
