For me it's the TDE .44 Automag as used by Harry Callaghan in Sudden Impact. It's just such a stunning looking pistol and so ahead of its time Designed in the late 1960s but looks contemporary today.

And here in action:

My pick is this item of military hardware from Clarence Boddicker's gang. As sported by one of his henchman, before he got death by toxic waste

Actually, that reminds me. This is the rifle used in Jurassic Park:

Take a look what Marlin suggests it's suitable for in the handy little pictorial guide under the main photo...

General Electric minigun like the one Blane had in Predator.

That 44 Magnum is ridiculous though - the recoil would ruin your shot!

But Desperado has a few winners; I've always liked this:

Not a film as such but the .45 drop barrel Colts in Trigun are pretty nifty.

Favourite though?

null

(maybe after the ZF1)

This is the rifle used in Jurassic Park:

No it's not, the gun used in Jurassic Park was a Franchi SPAS-12 auto shotgun.

The Marlin 1895 was in Jurassic World.

😛

It's from Existenz (sp?)

The SPAS 12 is semi-auto or pump action. Actually 😉

Directly from a Google search is sketchy cos it frobs about with the links. Neat trick that usually works, right click and choose "open image in new tab" then copy the URL from the address bar in the new tab.

There’s a Thompson Sub Machine-Gun under all that plastic dressing. I’ve always liked the idea that this ‘space gun’ is a Tommy Gun.

My favourite is the FN FAL Paratrooper used by Vincent in Heat, or the Colt Commando Chris uses in the bank job.

I’ve got a funny relationship with Guns, I find the engineering clever and like the history of them, but there’s no way people should be allowed to have them just to have a play.

Same here, the engineering history of the AK-47 and it being a symbol of left wing insurgency is fascinating

Im not a gun nut but I remember being genuinely annoyed when the British army went for the Enfield SA80 instead of some of the much better euro alternatives like the steyr AUG. Typical British incompetence

Bear in mind that the gun that made production was a shadow of the prototype thanks to value engineering, the Mk3 is seemingly closer to the original spec than the Mk1.

The supressed auto that Bruce Willis kills Travolta with in Pulp Fiction.

That'll be a MAC-10.

Pretty much all the Star Wars guns are good tbh, I guess that's what happens when they're basically just actual guns with stuff stuck on

Well, bearing in mind the demise of Mr Connery it’s got to be the Webley Fosbery from Zardoz.
