it's beautiful but it does feel very much like rather than 'father builds son a toy car', 'Mercedes PR team finds YouTube channel where man builds wooden cars and get him to do one for them'.   He has skills though

Sad that he didn't just leave it square and chunky and ugly.
He could have told his son it was the Lego version and saved a lot of effort

That guy has built a lot of cars for his son. Churning one out every 2-3 months in fact. I'm guessing it's less about his son and a bit more about youtube and promoting his business tbh

looks like Iroko or some other hardwood, the dust is carcinogenic.
