Is there anything I can pro-actively to do try and get faster broadband? I'm on about 1.5Mbps currently which is fine for most stuff but with the prospect of HD video streaming I might want more. Can you like lobby BT for an exchange upgrade or something?
Well you can check samknows to see wheen your exchange will be upgraded to 21cn
In addition to things to do with the exchange, have you checked that your phone lines are wired up correctly?
I got 1mbit extra + a more stable connection by sorting mine out.
Good point retro. I think they are ok but it's worth a check.
I've never used one but I've heard that iPlates can help sort out any problems with phone connections and dramatically speed up connections.
