You can pick three numbers from three bands. (For the purposes of this exercise we'll assume you have a large enough living room.)

Who would you have and what would they play?

My first thoughts:
- Pink Floyd to open with Shine On You Crazy Diamond
- Bob Dylan artfully handles the tricky middle session with Hurricane
- Rolling Stones to close with You Can't Always Get What You Want
(Fade to huge applause from the sofa.)
- Bonus encore 'cos they stay for a brew: It's Only Rock'n'Roll

May be room for improvement here...

Kylie Minogue 'Can't Get You out of my Head' solo, no band required.

And then maybe Do The Locomotion as an encore...

David Byrne - Psychokiller (Stop Making Sense version)

Boards of Canada - anything they want

Talk Talk - I Believe in You

Followed by all 3 of them having a jam session and making something astounding, maybe with Brian Eno popping by to help.
