Should I poke you and will you attack?

Leave the poor bugger alone.

OR

Put superglue on the web and return the favour for all the flies it's done-in.

We've got loads of the blighters. I was bitten on the ankle by one the summer before last. Ankle swelled up and hurt quite a bit. It left two little fang marks and the scar took a few months to fade.

Maybe it was karma, as a few years ago I caught two of them and put them in a jam jar together. There was very quickly only one living spider remaining.

Our sitting room is full of them. We leave them alone and they leave us alone, while killing shedloads of flies at the same time.
