Didn't see that soft bit coming ... luckily a soft boggy landing ... although it took about 3 or 4 mins to get out from the bike. I was still clipped in and my leg jammed between the bars and frame.

Made me laugh, although for a time I did feel just a bit isolated when I was stuck.

Anyone else fall off today?

Did a good job of it yesterday--making a fast downhill turn and the front tire washed out in loose, decomposed granite, the wheel turned about 90 degrees and I exited sort of OTB and fortunately just missed landing in a 4 foot cholla cactus by about a foot. Came unclipped, so didn't have myself wrapped around the bike parts or vice versa. Of course there were a couple of bemused hikers who saw the entire debacle.

I see your bog, and raise you a "its just a little stream" which deposited me gracefully over the bars:

Not very recent, but at the end of this short (30s) video I have an 'over the bars into bog moment'

I did an awesome superman jump to running landing from this one.

But the death pit of depth on the Tank in Swanage completely devoured me, when I recovered the bike it had someone else's helmet peak in my spokes, must have been 400mm deep in the filth...

That peak probably was attached to a helmet, and rider plus bike. They will be uncovered in 1000 years as part of an archeological dig..

although it took about 3 or 4 mins to get out from the bike.

I got stuck upside-down in a bush below a trail clipped in once. People passed me, said hi and carried on. Clearly intent on requiring the maximum embarassment. I got out though.

For the life of me for a good while, I just couldn't move my leg or the bike to get myself clear. I even nearly did it again about 100yds further on, but managed to unclip in time.

I don't believe anyone of this parish will top my (technically head-, not) face-plant for a fair while!
