Do you have it yet? - Yes or No
I've been running it for a while. I find it really useful and I've been adding lots of old events.
Haven't got it yet but bebo did something similar a while back and I didn't like it much then. Having seen a couple peoples profiles with already I can't say that I'm a big fan of it.

For a minute there I thought you meant "Do you have facebook yet".
Facebook timeline? Talk to me...whassitallabout?
It puts all your past events on a, err, timeline. Your profile therefore looks quite a lot different. It also means you can upload (say) photos and then change the date and place rather than the date just being the upload date.
You should be able to see mine if you go to http:[slashslash]www.facebook.com[slash]ccadden
It's rolling out gradually and you have seven days to edit/delete anything on it before it is made public 🙂

Setting up that timeline showed me just how much information I had up about myself. I've just spent the best part of an hour stripping down my profile and making my information viewable by about 10 friends now, the sociable git that I am.
just had a proper look at it (thanks druidh) - its a bit freaky, how easy it is to see so much info!
but i quite like it...
3 mutual friends btw druidh 8)

One sensible precaution which I've seen suggested is to obfuscate your DOB, given that information is often used by banks etc. to identify you.
I think it's great actually. A good change.

That is sensible advice, but think of all the Happy Birthday wishes you would miss out on! 😉
For the record, I just hide the year I was born.
