Too late to replace Mazapin I assume?
The replacement must have participated in at least one practice session this weekend so that only leaves Jack Aitken as a possibility.
They said first thing this morning they weren't replacing him (saving money on replacement parts presumably)
Yes!!
Oh look, Verstappen is pushing Hamilton around already. It'll upset RB now that the stewards have said no investigation necessary.
No investigation necessary. Looking forward to Horner being asked about that.
This'll end up in court
His tactics coming back to bite him on the arse.
Racing incident innit 😁
Can't see this ending well!

what he said 👆
Controversy already. That said RB always say let them race!
Ooof that is a tough one to call.
Massi actually slapped Jonathan down! Riding think that would happen this race. Right decision though.
Nice to see usual tricks being ignored.
Gotta say, I think Max's move was fine
This’ll end up in court
I think that might be true.
Horner on the Sky TV commentary complaining now as well.
Love the way Horner is saying its totally different to other incidents that favoured Max.
No it's not!!
Have to admit to my uninformed eyes, Max looked like he was ahead, should Lewis not back out?
Max did stay on the track.
I think Jos is about to explode!!
Gotta say, I think Max’s move was fine
Nico Rosberg disagrees with you. 😉
Although to be fair Jensen Button is more on the fence about it.
It’s a tricky one but essentially you can’t force another driver off the track.
And I think Max knew that with Lewis in front on mediums he had one shot at it.

There was no where for him to back out to other than off the track. Max did give him a shove and left Lewis no options. He couldn't just brake as he would have took them both off or got hit from behind and he couldn't turn in as Max was there
Nico Rosberg disagrees with you. 😉
Yeah so I hear. I think the problem is that Max stayed on track (unlike Brazil) and it's not clear that Lewis gave any time back.
Not sure what Red Bull's appeal options are?
This’ll end up in court
Max needs to finish within 5s of Lewis to make that worthwhile - IMO the incident wouldn't warrant more than a 5s time penalty if the decision went the other way on appeal.
Bottas getting in some good practice for racing in the midfield next year.
That move was fine in my book. When Lewis left that much space on the inside, I thought he was planning to let Max go and then tuck in behind for the tow up the next straight. Was surprised when he started to turn in.
Yep, it boils down to max did a divebomb and didn't leave Lewis any option but to run off the track. You have to leave racing room so the stewards called it correct in my eyes.
Max may well have got that decision if it wasn't for the kind of aggressive behaviour he's displayed all season.

It wasn't as banzai as some of his moves this season, but he did literally drive the car he was passing off the track.
You have to leave a cars-width is the norm.
Max has so little racecraft it's not even funny, ruined tyres already change at lap 14. This maybe Hamiltons easiest race of the year, Max is like me on the Xbox.
Jeez I wouldn't want to be in the pit crew....imagine the pressure!
Not sure what Red Bull’s appeal options are?
Going by this;
Red Bull sporting director Jonathan Wheatley: "We still don't understand it. That was a hard aggressive pass by Max but Max stayed fully on the track and was ahead at the apex. He did everything right.Race director Michael Masi: "The stewards have reviewed it and determined that all of the lasting advantage was gained and that Max forced that position. They have reviewed it but will not be investigating."
Stamping there feet and crying "its not fair"
Verstappen forced Hamilton off the track in his customary over aggressive driving style.
Ooo, what's Plan B...?
'Plan B' presumably is a Perez rolling roadblock.
Ooo, what’s Plan B…?
Perez is going to work from home I think
Ooo, what’s Plan B…?
For Perez to stay out, wait for Hamilton to catch him then slow him down as much as possible so Verstappen can catch up.
Or just take him off the track, by the standards of this season.
If Hamilton had stayed on track as per instructions, Max would have hit him, he didn't have clear water just as Hamilton didn't at ?Silverstone?
If both had then gone off would stewards have blamed one, or the other, or both.
I got the feeling LH slowed up a bit to allow MV to get back to close up but was MV also slowing a bit to allow Perez to close up to try and do a double move?
Also amazed at the difference in lap times with MV on 'better' tyres, when they were faster by 0.2s in qualifying. Do you think LH let him have pole?
he did literally drive the car he was passing off the track
Dunno, I’d say Lewis had the opportunity to cede the corner just a little earlier and tuck in behind.
For me it was a little like Austria 2016, personally I thought Rosberg played that one smart and left Lewis the choice of turning into him or not. But this armchair is comfy 😉
Max does textbook pass on Sainz into 6 - see, he DOES know how to do it.
All that fuss about tires and they change onto the same compound at the same time?
