What is the easiest way of extracting a voicemail message from a mobile phone/network.

Short story is someone dialled a number without knowing as they were drunk, so whilst having a conversation the whole thing has been recorded....

So any ideas ?

drunkenly phoning your wifes sister again?

Can't see any way you could delete a voicemail from someone elses mailbox without their knowledge/permission unless you knew the password

Install a call recorder on your mobile and dial into the voicemail account.

You might as well tell us what it's all about. Or is that you can't remember. At least tell us who it was... 🙂

Do you want to delete the message, or email it to all your friends for comedy purposes?

If the latter, a quick and dirty way would be to plug the phone into a PC with a 3.5mm stereo cable, and re-record it.

Sorry, the post may have been mi-read...

We have/own the phone, the message is on our voicemail.....someone we know has called our phone through being drunk, carried on with their conversation in the pub.

The whole thing has been recorded....and its just so funny that it needs to be shared with other people !

Its NOT me office! Honest ! 🙂

well, as Andy up there ^^^ will no doubt confirm

Apparently most people never reset their voicemail PIN number from the default 1234, 0000 etc.
So.............. if you were to use the networks voicemail number from another phone, you'd only have to input the mobile number + the PIN

or so I've heard

EDIT ignore the above, you clarified as I was posting

I think this is the answer, unless it's on a landline, then i'm stumped.

a decent mobile phone will have a voice recorder that you can hold up to the speaker of your landline for a quick copy. That then will write a file to your mobile that you can email to mates or upload to youtube etc
