Any recommendations for an online service for this?
Seem to be a few of them about but recommendations would be helpful

Most of the online places give a pretty poor exchange rate.
Depending on how much you've got some central banks will exchange out of date currency at face value - I did this with some out of date Swedish Krona I'd forgotten in a drawer. Fill in a form, send off the notes and bank transfer to your account
