anybody know how to get the best from exchange rates , the pound is weak and its costing me £5000 pounds more to exchange money to build a house now than it would of 4 months ago , how can i reverse this so i can get more for my cash /

Have a look at currencyfair.com - peer to peer exchange (you're exchanging directly with other people who want an exchange in the opposite direction, they just provide a secure way to do it) so the rates are very good, and they only charge something like 0.3% commission.
