I'm a builder not an IT God....
Can someone help me please
Can excel do this for me, I have 3 figures A1, B2, C3 and D4
A1 = 1000 B2 =250 C3 =1250 (total) I would like to be able to work out a percentage of the c3 total be just inputting 70% or 30% for example.
How do I do that?

=C3*0.30 for 30%
or if you put 30 in D4
= C3*d4/100

Just figured it.
Column formatted to read percentages and then just D3 * C3.

Just a thought but do you want your figures to be laid out diagonally?
