Right folks I've got this in cell A1 30.10.2011 22:53 (10:53pm on 30th October 2011). I need to convert from that into the excel time/date format number, so that I can subsequently use the Excel date and time formatting options. Can anyone give me a formula to do it?
I'd like to put the answer in B2
Ta
and why oh why would a company specify a format that uses commas as the decimal seperater and then use CSV the text file type 🙄

Plenty of options.
Will using find & replace (ctrl H) and replacing the '.' with a / work?
