You are increasing the pressurewithin the covering of your spinal column when you sneeze so any already existing (mild) compression of your spinal nerves as they exit will be exacerbated for a short time. Hence numbness due to the increase in compression. So could be linked to the Guillian Barre as that attacks the whole nervous system! may want to get the base of your neck and thorasic outlet (bit from neck to shoulder under your collar bone) checked out by an Osteopath/Physio/Chiropractor, could probably reduce some compression there. All in all wouldn't worry too much!

I was getting occasionally numb fingers in my right hand last year, worse whenever I got stressed. was convinced I was heart attack material . GP ran tests said I was fine but referred me for physiotherapy on my shoulders and upper back which were v tight and hunched up - few sessions later all fine. Hope yours sorts itself as easily.
Well I still can't feel my feet and fingers, so a bit more numbness is nowt!
