Yes, undeniably nerdy, but I'm impressed

I've made loads of scale aircraft (& still have about 50 in the loft, just waiting) but that kind of ability is well beyond me. A guy at work however is awesome with WW2 bombers & often shows them at various model exhibitions.
Practice, patience & a steady hand.

It did make me chuckle that the main banner above the linked page was for a singles website.

Ummmm... you realise that's based on your browsing history, right?

For me it was an Amazon add for bike lights. Based on my recent searches I guess......

It's very detailed but as with most models, too clean and tidy. It needs a few dents and stains on the paint.

I have sat in a real one.
Bruntingthorpe track day , wandered off at lunchtime to look at the Victor and stuff lined up.
They used to do a day called 'Rolling Thunder' where they basically blast up the runway trying to keep the wheels on the ground , otherwise the CAA got nuts
Cockpit rather small and very busy , info overload.

A guy at work builds replica models, mainly sci-fi stuff, and is apparently well known on the convention circuit.

I tend to go "wow" when I see his work and "how ****ing much?" when he tells me what he can sell it for. One piece sold for half my (meagre) salary.
