I need to make a transfer of Euros to a European bank account. My high street bank wanted a silly amount of money so need to look elsewhere. Western Union?
Any ideas please from the financial whizzkids on the Forum?

Have a look at TransferWise. Got recommended in a thread about paying for something in Euro.

It's not just the silly amount that High St banks want for the service, they also offer really poor exchange rates.
