Have we done the leave donors trying to dodge tax demands.

Not reinforcing our remoaner conspiracies at all 😉

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/12/22/exclusive-hmrc-accused-revenge-establishment-slaps-huge-tax/

Obvs is all an evil establishment plot by us retainers!

or is it?

A HMRC spokesman said: “Donations to campaign groups don’t qualify as exempt gifts to political parties, unless the recipient is a political party meeting the criteria set out in section 24 of the Inheritance Tax Act 1984.

“No special exemption was granted ahead of the 2016 referendum. Obviously, the legislation is applied equally to all organisations and groups.”

Following on from the blue passport nonsense can I make a request for the UK theme tune to be returned to Radio 4, its disappearance being equally nothing to do with the EU but I will certainly feel more in control again and it will go some way to making Britain grate again.

What other pointless stuff can we suggest - what about a dedicated 'Brexit' prom next year ....

Shut the shops on Sundays or at least one Sunday a month.
Shopping is not a family pastime it's a pain in the arse.
Also turn the internet off once a month.

Would that be it's lowest since 2012?

Project Armageddon said we’d be in a depoer recenssion than post the financial crises. So 1.7% is nothing short of amazing. GET IN

Such a damn shame Remain didn’t offer to bring back the Blue passports. Just think you’d have won, well apart from being able to explain aisde from £200m a week and all the other hidden commitments we where racking up and how it was all ... such grear value (even though we’ve hidden it all from you)

2017 PMSL 🙂 🙂 🙂

Rocking Karen C (They Long To Be ) Close to You .... Happy Christmas

No the forecasts were after Brexit itself, it hasn't happened yet so don't throw away your blue/black passport cover just yet.

Such a damn shame Remain didn’t offer to bring back the Blue passports.

Why would anyone bother? You get now that there was nothing stopping anyone doing it while being a member of the EU don't you - come on it's christmas you can admit you misread that one.

200m a week ?

blimey, what has happened to the other 150 ?

any comment on those tax bills Jambalaya ? you are always keen to point out that you would like all big corporations to pay their fair share of tax , surely it is only fair that those donors pay what the law says they should ?

I’d quite like bbc1 to finish about 1am each night and play the National anthem again. Oh, and bring back that girl with her teddy and a blackboard test card. I would definitely feel like i’d taken back control if that happened.

That's where you're wrong - it was an edict from Brussels that forced us to drop it. #jambafact

"Project Armageddon said we’d be in a depoer recenssion than post the financial crises. So 1.7% is nothing short of amazing. GET IN"
Err a) project fear was the brexshitters campaign based on Schrödinger's immigrants taking benefits and your job while claiming their cat gave them the right to remain, and Merkel is Hitler's love child seeking revenge for ww2.
And b) economic forecasts of what will happen post Brexfudge can only be assessed against what happens post brexfudge so reduced performance now pre brexfudge is just a taster of what is to come not a vindication of the plebiscite
C) should your valediction not be GET OUT ? It's the clever people even THNM saying stay in!

Well we've got back to 1987 at least...

The ONS also said that households have paid out more money than they received for four consecutive quarters, the first time that’s happened since records began in 1987.

https://www.bloomberg.com/amp/news/articles/2017-12-22/u-k-economy-held-back-by-inflation-squeeze-brexit-wariness?__twitter_impression=true

Some elites are more elite than others - the sneerers must 'other' elites than the lizard people elite on the Heil's front page.

For those of us that will experience the consequences of Brexit as something other than an amusing aside there is still plenty to moan about so I will carry on until this nonsense is stopped or scrapped etc.

There seems little chance of that, possibly by 2022 but even then I doubt it. I could imagine that GE will be fought on non-Brexit issues but the Remaniacs will still be sneering.

In other news the out going Swiss President has been making noises about another EU Referendum there (they already voted to NEVER join) as she is very frustrated as to how the EU just tries to turn everything into politcial issues when really they want to talk about businesses. Also Politco reports French amd Bristish MPs in North France / SE UK have been working together to make sure this very importnat border gets as muc docus as Ireland, French have been having private meetings with Barnier. Also noted was fact that France could not be ready for WTO by March 2019, they need a deal.

@aracer Morgan Stanley don’t agree and neither do I. Project Armageddon was tried in 2016 and people quite rightly saw straight through it.

Is that daily mail front page for real?

The brexies really are an insecure bunch ,if us retainers sneering 😉 upsets then so much !

Still it's pretty much their only 'victory' of the 1st phase of talks. So I can see why they don't want it mocked.

I wonder what further delights the Tory Brexishambles will offer us in the next round of our [s]humiliating climbdowns [/s] negotiations with the EU in 2018

the Remaniacs will still be sneering.

Do you not think that they're just normal people, worried about their futures? And do you think that you might be the one doing some sneering there? Or do you just take the Daily Mail as gospel?

Jam, as we keep saying, the proof will be in 20 years' time, not this year.

And of course we still lose our rights.

I think that its great that the Daily Mail & their puppet PM are still banging on about something that only the dying demographic they are chasing give a flying **** about.

It just makes the Tories & their Brexishambles ever more alienating to the young.

They really don't have a clue, no wonder Barnier is running rings around 'em!

It's ok bloddynora,

I've got a support network of likeminded remainiacs, we have created a virtual safespace where we can confront the hideous reality of brexitrump etc.
We tweet & WhatsApp each other everytime there's an angry old white guy ranting on question time, or there's some fun to be had on hignfy, the last leg, league of gentleman mocking brexies was a big self confirmation boost for us, the new Alan partridge series, sure to get the mail fired up with frothing brexie outrage too!

So the people who seem to be most upset are the brexiters who are panicking that people are going to see through their lies and deceptions, realise it's going to be a world of pain and revolt against it before the end of the negotiations. Well that is a surprise isn't it - guess what you can still have a blue passport if we stay in the EU it will just be worth more.

On the contrary. They won and it’s going to happen. So that are probably happier than the rest of us

Panic and revolution seems a likely as an England ashes test victory - oh we lost that too

the evidence is to the contrary, panic about pushing dates in bills, panic when people criticise them, angry shouting from the press whenever anything is challenged. Of course it depends how open your eyes are.

Or if you restrict yourself to trashy newspapers

The whole Brexshit process has been much steadier and less dramatic than the media would like people to believe

2018 will most likely be the same.

No I also include wailing MP's the wholly thought through posts of the Brexiters in here and the architects of the Omnishambles media appearances trying to explain why scrutiny and control are not parts of the process and why looking closer and asking awkward questions is very much unwelcome and unpatriotic which highlights the worst trait of invoking a sense of duty to the UK as a reason for not acting in the best interests of the country.

But carry on with whatever you are doing there which mostly comprises of telling people to shut up and take whats coming.

Which doesn't mean it has been steady and undramatic - I presume you're not suggesting that? I note that just like the Brexiteers* it's also the Brexit supporting media getting most upset about the whole process.

* if you think the Brexiteers aren't getting upset you need to pay more attention

In reality we have simply moved to the position that non dramatic commentators suggested would happen and our most strident remoaners argued eould never happen. No surprises there.

Despite all the BS and noise and the three silly preconditions - which were neatly sidestepped in the end - we start 2018 with trade negotiations on the agenda. About time too

We will achieve a deal by the end of the year (in broad principle) although it will take a considerable period of transition.

There will be lots of noise and on going BS but the trend is clear. That’s all you need to focus on.
