We (humans), produce a lot of crap. Traditionally we've not done an awful lot with it. In the past it's been sold to farmers after all the nasties have been removed. But more recently most of the sewage companies have started turning it into electricity, first to save money and then to make money and that's a process (sic) that'll only increase. It's now very big business indeed.
Anyone driving over Barton Bridge by Manchester will see the two huge methane golf balls on Davyhulme treatment works. They're part of a CHP process that generates 9MW of electricity. Even when the electricity used to run the plant is extracted, that's still around 7MW that is being fed back into the grid. All from crap. And that's just part of Manchester.
Bridges...no idea why but I just like them...not to the extent I would travel just to to see one but if i was near an interesting one I would make the effort to go and see it

I don't really like the idea of electric cars or SLS Mercs particularly, but there's some very impressive stuff in there.
+1 for bridges, especially those wooden bridges built by logging companies in the Pacific Northwest. I rode over the wooden Albion Bridge in Northern California as a truck passed me, the sound a feel of it was something other worldly.

Love the Lego vid., mind you I think Legoland beats the pants off Disneyworld anyday. The people who do my laser cutting have a massive machine that they just turn on and leave running by itself overnight, it reloads itself with fresh sheets of material, palletises all the cut parts and removes all the offcuts to a skip. Unbelievable to watch.
