Anyone else getting any?
I've had two spammy emails from people i've had contact with on STW today, both addressed to me with personal greetings in the title and tottaly random links on them.
Anyone else getting this shit?
Got one yesterday related to a thread I'd posted on but I have am email address in my profile.
Occasionally I get spam from what must be hacked accounts of people I've sold or bought from in the past.
I've had them too - Hora enquiring about a car I had for sale.
Anyone else....
I've got 16,446 unread emails currently.
I'll let you know once I've got through them all 🙂
Evening.
LoLing at bear.
I've had that hora spam as well, basically went something like " I'll buy the car off you if you give it to me for free?"
It's very, very easy to spoof email addresses. Also, malware infections can do such things.
Have had an abusive email spoofing my own email address from someone commenting on a specific thread. As @Cougar says it's easy to do and therefore not worth worrying about.
I don't want anymore Russian brides or gentleman enhancement products.
I only have a small apartment
ssstu, I was serious - If you don't want more pics of my knackers, just say so 🙁
I saved those pics to my special collection.
Please feel free to send some more pics of them in their unshaved state.
They're my favourite ones.
It's very, very easy to spoof email addresses
I've already done this and I'm not saying it's anything to do with STW but it's just a bit odd that i don't normally get stuff. But the only connection i can see is they're both people i've had contact with through STW.
I've had them too- offering me older German cars with malfunctioning indicators
Odd, someone's been trying to sell me a German vehicle as well. Apparently, there's a premium to pay for heated wing mirrors.
Easy to spoof an email address eh?, this might explain why a few people I'd talk to, from STW, via messenger received weird emails from 'me'.
This was 10 or 12 years ago mind, always did mean to find out how it happened ...
