Help! we've got a floodlight on a PIR over our patio, with an isolation switch inside. The mrs turned it off earlier by accident and now i can't get it to go into timed mode. I can obviously turn it on and off, but there's some sort of combination of on/off with a set number of seconds in between to put the light into "on with the PIR, but not permanently on" mode.

anyone?!? Driving me mad trying random switching!

Little dial usually underneath on the housing.

try switching from on to off, then waiting 20seconds and then to on again.

sorry, not explained it properly, the main light works, but the isolation switch needs to be turned on then off after 20 seconds or something so that the light works on the PIR but isn't permanently on?

If memory serves, on ours you had to wait 20 secs or something between switching it off and then back on. To override the timer you switched it on/off/on in quick succession

The mrs turned it off earlier

There's your problem. You don't let her near the thermostat as well do you?
