[Closed] Editing a picture of my house?

My house needs repainting, it's always been white but that makes the windows and facias etc look very grubby. I'm toying with the idea of using a colour.
I've just taken a pretty poor pic of the house with my phone. Any idea what to do to play with colours?
I was thinking a grey/green moss colour.

@klunk

How do you do such a precise wall selection ?

A walk-through would be nice ๐Ÿ™‚

it's easy, as the house is white (ish) the trick is to put the house on the top as a multiply layer then add a roughly masked image underneath and voila you have all the lighting correct.

once you have the rough mask it takes seconds to duplicate the effect

and i mean rough ๐Ÿ˜‰

Serious head on. What colour are other houses of the same design on the street? I live on a street of twenty 1930s houses that are all white render and black woodwork. It suits them and its correct for the period and design of the house.

Apart from one 'individual' who has painted theirs cream with brown woodwork.

bensales. Only my house is rendered and painted, the rest are light brick.
The house is set in a square, with all the gardens backing onto a common green, based I believe on a Roman villa?
The theme is repeated in the area, I think there is a pink one and a beige one as well.
The brilliant white walls make the window frames and all the facias, soffits, guttering etc look really grubby

A continuation of your garden painted on the side.

Or something like this:

Or 'No, you DON'T need disc brakes on a road bike!'
in really big angry letters. ๐Ÿ˜€
