He still discovered the top 4 from yesterdays quali though, so he must be good at something

No he didn't they have all drove for him though

Fisi & Trulli both started their F1 careers at Minardi & Heidfeld was at Prost then Sauber before he went to Jordan, Barrichello was the only one of them to start at Jordan

FWIW - he is a twonk & an irritating one at that but he knows so many people in the paddock

And is that a wig? Surely not his own hair.

Can the BBC have a word in his shell-like and ask him to stop going on about the Jordan Team.. every 2nd breath he mentions "The Jordan Team", every 3rd breath "a driver that was attached to the Jordan Team etc".. Eddie is starting to sound like a long playing record and this is personally getting on my nerves.. Fanatastic that Force India achieved such a brilliant weekends racing.. but this now goes back to my comment about Eddie.. he went on about the 'DNA' of the Force India Team, 'WHAT DNA' Eddie is stuck in a time warp...

I like him, he's not bothered about saying whether cars/drivers haven't performed up to expected standard and gets a suprising amount of people to appear in front of the camera, lets be realistic there is no way Schumacher would have appeared in front of anyone else at Valencia whilst BBC were in front of Ferrari pits.

I think he is good fun and even enjoyed his section playing golf with Barrichello today.

Just a personal opinion obviously

Quite like him - he complements Coulthard's and Brundle's experiences as drivers, and there's some excellent banter between EJ, DC and the tall presenter.

He makes me cringe every time he says something. Don't know why, just comes across as really awkward.

He adds a different perspective from the usual retired drivers co commentating. Opinionated yes, but pretty much every other F1 team owner past or present would be up their own arse too.

I think the commetary team are a good mix, even 'the tall one' Jake Humphrey who seems to have appeared from nowhere but is good at his job.

100% improvement on the hysterical errant rantings of the previous (thankfully retired) commentator.

We did all the fabrications on the early Jordans till carbon fibre took over and met him a few times. Nice enough bloke but it is a known fact that he is as bald as a coot... 😀

EJ lost his hair due to shock after a powerboating accident, IIRC. Apparently he has three different length hairpieces, one short, one medium, and a longer one so he can look like his hair is growing....

Hi all, I'm new around here, been lurking for ages, but I do love F1...

Eddie can be annoying, but you have to say that he's earned his place, and there aren't many people who have come from being a carpet salesman to owning an F1 team, and as said earlier, he knows everyone!
Also, I love the friction between Coulthard and him, they can't stand each other, I really hope that they don't get rid of that. Just wish that Jake Humphreys would shut up more and sooner! 😆
