So I sold a small item for £370 + £65 postage and it's going to Australia fair enough, I know it'll cost me 15% in fees...BUT, they then charged the buyer import fees, charged me 15% on those fees and I'm still required to post directly to Australia, not through the GSP.
1. How can they charge the buyer fees for a service they cannot provide?
2. How can they bill me for services that I haven't said I can provide and haven't actually been paid for. Ebay have removed their £50 for import fees along with my £75 in fees...
Bit late now I suppose, but I usually ask if theyre on any of the bike forums, give an example and wait for them to contact.
Ebay are turds, the soft variety that gets everywhere and you need to keep wiping., and if you can deal outwith them, thats probably best.
