...To send you an item? (Not cycling related)
Never had a problem like this, don't really know how long to wait really

It's been 11 days since I paid now, no sign and no communication. I sent a polite email on Friday, but no response.
I was thinking of another polite but firm email at 14 days, then get annoyed next week?

Sounds about right

Something should have happened by now even a message/email. Your patient waiting 14 days! I'd be sending another message late this afternoon.

2 weeks normally, but with the postal strikes on at the mo, maybe a bit longer?

Well I'm patient because I'd rather have the item than the money. I've paid a fair price, so it's not as if he's going to get more for it elsewhere.

sorry, just re-read your post, if they are not replying to emails, two weeks, then go to dispute.

Still no sign, or reply from him.

Just sent this -

Hi. Still no sign of my item, and no reply to my last email. Please let me know ASAP when I should be expecting them to arrive. It's 2 weeks tomorrow since I paid for them and for the postage price I paid, I expect a better service then this.

If it was me I'd be on the third very strongly worded email by now.

I always try to dispatch within 2-3 days of receiving payment and then email the buyer.

Did the seller have anything in the auction about dispatch times?

Even given the crap postal service in some areas at the moment 2 weeks is too long and needs actioning.

Perhaps you can do it on Saturday while you're twiddling your thumbs. 😉

Indeed. That's D-Day I think...... 🙂

I'd still rather have the item, though. Hence my patience.

So, still no replies. Should I give him one more shot or just get my money back? TBH it feels like pi$$ing into the wind right now.

I'd raise a dispute & also email him - telling him you've done it

I thought sellers had to quote dispatch times now. When I listed something last week I had to.

When I had this problem with a seller. Eventually he said he was too busy to post the item and refunded me. Half the time I think these people are just disappointed at the price they got and hope you will go away. Hopefully your seller is less crap.

It seems people on E:bay make a lot of money with inflated postage costs but sit on their a*** for days before packaging and sending.

Well, he listed the item as a BIN especially for me (It's a pair of shocks off a scooter he is breaking) I didn't quibble the price as I thought it was fair to both of us. It took a few days to get replies before he listed them for me, but since then, just silence.

I've just given him 24 hours. Maybe I'm a bit soft? I won't be extending that any more though. No point in giving a deadline and not sticking to it, is there?

I've just logged the dispute with Paypal. Good job I did because you only have 20 days after paying to escalate a dispute to get your money back, and it's 15 days now.
10am tomorrow, I get medieval on his ass.

I've only ever had one slow poster, I emailed, no reply so went straight to dispute. Got an email of them straight away and item the next day plus a gift. They were a power seller and just got to busy I think.

Is yours a big power seller or an individual?

So, still no reply. Escalated to a claim with PayPal.

This really sucks.
