Well my two year old Dyson DC24 Animal cleaner power brush bar packed up yesterday. Went through all the steps on their customer support website to see if I could self reset/fix the issue (which from reading the t'internet its a common problem with the motors dying) and then followed the advice to ring the customer support. Expecting it to be busy as its that time of the year my call was answered friendly and reasonably promptly and they are dispatching a whole new cleaner head assembly in the post. Thankfully the machine has a five year guarantee too.
So for all the bad press Dyson gets, here is some good!
We have the dc29 , we are on our third replacement head , but as you say their customer support line is very good and the staff are polite & knowledgeable.
