Sounds daft. Marmite and cream-cheese-stuffed jalapeños ftw. Homemade daftness is always better.

Agreed. Nice packaging. Nice marketing. Taste is not that different from regular marmite. Hardly ‘dynamite’.

XO marmite flavour is more of a departure from regular marmite than Dynamite Chilli. And that’s not so different either. Not worth the premium price.

Just finished a jar for mixing with peanut butter, agreed it’s not a huge departure, best tasted by itself and very thick.

Back to XO in a few days.

I've recently rediscovered the joy of poached eggs on toast for breakfast. This being STW, eggs from our own flock of free range, pure breed hens, natch 😆

I have discovered that this simple but already delicious breakfast is elevated to stratospheric heights by the addition of a very thin layer of marmite on the buttery toast.

Mind blown!

That does sound nice. Love marmite and love poached eggs on toast but never thought of combing the two. That’s breakfast this weekend sorted 🤤

Beans on marmite toast is good too 👍🏼

TBH, I really like it. It isn't just a mega hot range extension. `It works well - but it isn't really that hot.
