I'd suspect it to be due to editing; ISTR a similar question regarding the "rednecks" in the cabin.

Probably no significance to the photos and just showing rednecks being civilised /cultured in their spare time.
Yeah seen it at the cinema and thought hold on they're making a point here. Supposedly she was planned to have a shoot out with Django but they didn't film it in the end. Great film quite possibly my number one. I was looking forward to his next western but it's been shelved as some idiot leaked the script.
Load of (possibly spurious) potential explanations floating round the net. Most likely either the result of odd editing decisions or one of Tarantino's more self-referential moments relating to the apparent universe his films all take place in.
@teamhurtmore - yes it's worth watching, stylised in places as you'd expect from Tarantino but some great performances.
@drac +1 I was looking forward to the next film too, Tarantino suspects an agent leaked it as the script was given to a very few people, basically only actors he wanted in the film

It was Zoe Bell who is a stunt woman in a few of Tarentino's films, including stunt double for uma thurman in Kill Bill. She was meant to have a fairly detailed back story, leading to a shoot out with Django but it never got shot, let alone edited out.
Amber Tamblyn's really is just a random pointless cameo/credits joke apparently. Her dad starred in the film "son of a gunfighter" and he's credited the same in django, so amber is daughter of a son of a gunfighter.
What's the photo she's studying?
Amber Tamblin; I thought I recognised that name, she was the lead in 'Joan Of Arcadia' from 2003-2005. Interesting series, that. Glad she's still acting.
