On the agenda is another visit to ypres/Bruges but any campsites within 50miles of either that are worth staying at/nearby treats?
I haven't booked which landing port yet so still flexible.
Boulougne has a great aquarium

bit outside your 50 miles and further south but was very good and there was a fair amount to do/see in the area.
Think thats abit to far sadly.
There are tonnes of campsites on the Belgian coast. Like, tonnes. They're all much of a muchness, i.e. functional but fine, easy walks to seaside though and long, long, long flat beaches.
La Coupole, Le Blockhaus, the V3 site at Wizernes, l'Ascenseur des Fontinettes, le Chemin de Fer de la Vallee de l'Aa, birdwatching at Clairmarais, Atlantic Wall museum just outside Ostende.
Oh and Plopsaland. Never forget Plopsaland.
Plenty to see in and around Ypres, too.
Other than the above, not much...
La coupole is worth a visit ww2 v rocket site, about an hour from Calais if I remember.
Place to stay near Calais:http://www.camping-la-bien-assise.com
We took our (then) 2 year old a few years ago. Set in the grounds of an old Château. Nice little pool, little shop on site, supermarket 5 min drive away and local town 10min walk. Not much to do tbh but easy road access if using as a base.
EDIT: oops, should have read the OP. 1:20/70miles from Bruges.
