U2, mumford and sons, travis, james (when they were doing the comebackthing a few years ago, coldpaly (obviously), keane, manic street preachers, oasis, depressingly can't name any modern bands but just in case - they're all crap as well.

Sadly the one started by my good friend. And his singing is godawful. How do I tell him?

Alt J - Thought they were gash to start with, but agreed to go & see them with the mrs in a moment of weakness, thought i'd give them a chance to redeem themselves - without doubt, the dullest, most tedious 'live' performance I have ever witnessed.

The Americanised overblown middle bit put me right off.

I mean they are popluar and all of the above have sold millions of albums so what's so bad about them? (apart from Kasabian, they are like own brand cornershop crisps, the packaging and format is all there but the taste and experience leave you underwhelmed)

They are rubber bands, it's hard to imagine a scenario where you might encounter incompatibility 😆

My band are pretty crap too....I wouldn't say we're overated though....most people think we're crap 🙂

Elbow are awful, their beer however is lovely

Well that's almost all of my CD collection named so far!

I'd like to add any syncopated jazz that sounds like a group of people playing several tunes all at the same time to different beats.
