Should I take tomorrow off work so I can drink from the moment I wake?

The forecast looks good tomorrow. Good day to go for a ride then enjoy a snowy bbq and beer after?

Yes, take the day off. And then all morning eat salty snacks until going out at lunchtime when the anticipation and salt will make it all so much better.

My dry January quandary is whether to start drinking tonight. We've just got a big new client just as things were looking squeaky bum, I'd like a drink to celebrate and the inlaws have been here all week taunting me my drinking and eating chocolate.

Think I've convinced myself to abstain until I've at least driven the kids home from school. After that shotgun some cans of special brew "watch this, kids!"

I wasn't going to break my fast, so to speak, but I've not been very well and my wife has been drinking the Woodford Reserve I bought before Christmas, so I may treat myself to a couple of those tomorrow night.

Nope, I'm going on to 2nd March, which is my birthday weekend.

I've no plans to start again. Last time I had more than one alcoholic drink was 6 months ago (wedding day, and the only time before that, last year was my stag do). Had 4 drinks since, none in January. Can't say I miss it.
