Weighing up train or car but not driven in to the City in the morn before so not sure what to allow.

Any idea how long it would take to get in to Birmingham from M6/A38M in the morn. Looking to arrive Lancaster Circus Queensway area about 8:45.

Don't - would be my answer.
OR if I REALLY have to then I go in very early and find a nice fryup whilst I'm waiting.

Have the same problem in a couple of weeks - live north of Derby, need to be far side of Birmingham city centre for 9am for two consecutive days.

Boss is being difficult about the cost of trains, or a Travelodge for the night. He is quite happy to pay my mileage to work in Suffolk for the day though!
