going to be in Dorchester ( Dorset ) with a few hours to spare one afternoon and looking for advice on the best pubs for ale.
Ive been recommended the convivial rabbit but always like to walk and try a few places ?

My fave is the Blue Raddle. Proper pub with good beer & cider selection. None of your gastro-pub nonsense, but entry may remind you of the Slaughtered Lamb.

Like the beaming bunny, it's cash only, so go via ATM. Food there is decent.
