At the weekend I pulled up at a red light only to have a guy in a van swerve around me and through the junction narrowly avoiding other cars as he did it.
The thing is, the stupid idiot was in a work van with the business name plastered all over it so I quickly grabbed my phone and took a picture (I wasn't moving so I guess I can just about get away with this infringement).
This morning I emailed the company in question and it turns out that my description of where the incident took place (along with the timestamp I got from the picture giving an accurate time) matched the details they were able to check from the tracker device fitted to the van so they know the driver and van in question.
Hopefully this clown will think twice before doing something so idiotic again.

Well its ok to do stuff like you've done now. Some Police forces are encouraging the public to report such idiocy to them.
They are actively pursuing Councils/RAC/AA employees to do this sort of thing you've done.
