any comments on the wall Jamba ?
How long can this goes on ?
this is not the 1930 , not a lot can be hidden from the media and public .
they look more foolish everyday .
Surely tho pissing off the press will backfire?
The news outlets blocked from the press briefing include organisations who President Trump has criticised by name. CNN, BBC, The New York Times, LA Times, New York Daily News, BuzzFeed, The Hill, and the Daily Mail, were among the news outlets barred from the gathering.
FFS the DM is either too factual for him or too left wing I do not know which is the most preposterous or most deluded
Pissing of Navy Seals isn't wise either.
Definitely what you would say were it Corbyn doing this [ especially if he banned the Jewish ones] for you are a man of principle.why give privileged access to those who have constantly sought to undermine you ?

Junky well if it's good enough for Alex Salmond to chose which media he allows into his Indy Ref loss/resignation press conference why on earth not The Donald ?
Salmond bans Telegragph, Express and Daily Mail
I don't get your point jambalaya.
Are you saying that you admire and respect Alex Salmond/the SNP?
Or are you saying that you would be perfectly happy if Jeremy Corbyn banned reporters from the Jewish Gazette, for example, from Labour press conferences?
I'm assuming it's got to be one or the other.
The only third option I can think of is that you can't justify it all so you have had to resort to "what about so and so, he did ....blah,blah,blah?"
And I can't imagine that.
The only third option I can think of is that you can't justify it all so you have had to resort to "what about so and so, he did ....blah,blah,blah?"
It's easier than having to justify an opinion. I can't think of any decent reasons for barring respectable media other than they ask tough questions your trying not to answer.
Also recent polls are showing generally the main stream media is believed more than the orange liar (yes we know his core support believes whatever he says but they are not the majority) another thing ready to backfire.
I assume somebody will ask him how he has managed to bring forward the delivery of the wall of no scope, from the budget of not agreed on the land not acquired yet...
There are circumstances where banning media is justified ie Liverpool banning The Sun newspaper. However, asking tough questions is not a valid reason and only proves you have something to hide or something where your reasons haven't been properly justified.
The Daily Mail has gone up in my estimation. I never thought that would happen.
Don't get ahead of yourself. I'm guessing the Mail is involved only for printing 'fake news' (lawsuit pending) about Melania Trump working as an escort not because of any hard-hitting stance against fascism.
"We're building the wall," he said. "In fact it's going to start very soon. Way ahead of schedule. It's way, way, way ahead of schedule."
The Doughnut has spoken. 🙄
The Daily Mail has gone up in my estimation
Be difficult for it to get lower
Apparently we can't now go to Paris, why? Because? well, err, Jim. y'know? Jim he err said...well He's a substantial guy Jim, and he...well, here read for yourself.

Junky well if it's good enough for Alex Salmond to chose which media he allows into his Indy Ref loss/resignation press conference why on earth not The Donald
Two wrongs dont make a right and I dont agree with that.
Anyway address the issue can corbyn ban Jews from his conferences and will you agree with this decision as its up to him?
Its not a hard question - tbh it was rhetorical as we all know what you would say. None of us really needed another example of your breathtaking hypocrisy but thanks again for yet another nail in the coffin of your threadbare credibility on the fanciful notion that you are a person of principle.
Apparently we can't now go to Paris, why? Because? well, err, Jim
Jimbalaya?
"Anyway address the issue can corbyn ban Jews from his conferences and will you agree with this decision as its up to him?"
I suspect Corbyn banning Jews from news conferences would be illegal and quite bad electorally.
The Mail is choosing to lead its site with a story profiling Mussolini for some reason this morning. 🙂
I don't know whether to laugh or cry at that ^^.
Just heard that a Syrian film maker (Documentary about the "White Hats" civil rescue teams) was refused entry into the US for the Oscars. A government spokesman said that this followed "derogatory information" about him.
No word yet about exactly who made these comments...
Considering the some of the anti-Semitic stuff breitbart has put out there and the way trump attacked that guy from the Jewish chronichle in his last press conference, trump already seems pretty happy championing the modern Nazi.
Meanwhile trumps rhetoric stirring up further hatred

And the Swedish government saw it necessary to correct some of the alternative facts spouted by Trump and his followers

any comments on the wall Jamba ?
How long can this goes on ?
I could but it seems best to discuss one issue at a time. It can go on until 2024. I think he'll win a second term.
Junky banning Jews would be racist. He could chose not to invite an Israeli newspaper he didn't like, I am sure there are many.
As for "two wrongs don't make a right" I don't recall howls of outrage at Salmond's decision. He also accused the BBC of bias just for asking him difficult questions on important topics, like "what currency will Scotland use" and challenging him on his claim to have oegal advice re-joining the EU
Paris. Well the South Korean's just told their citizens it's not safe after a bus tour group was robbed by rioters. Whether seeing the army patrolling the streets makes you feel safe or not is up to you to decide, they walk past our flat and the school opposite 3 or 4 times a day. Fully armed with automatic weapons. Tourism in Paris is down significantly, numbers to key attractions like the Tower and Louvre especially. Economic impact is estimated to be €1.3bn in 2016. There are numerous areas (like St Denis around the Stade) that my wife will not visit as it's unsafe to do so.
I was going to ponder just how long it would be before Doughnut's supporters started to realise, that their country was being taken over by a creeping tide of Nazism unleashed by themselves.
Then it occurred to me that they already know and are quite happy about it.
Anybody who supports Nazism is, by definition, a Nazi, wouldn't you say?
And so it begins.
This may have been done already, but I see Donny's looking at a wall here too.
My wife's Cornish and we live in Devon. What to do...
He's also wanting to build a sea wall in Ireland to protect one of his golf courses because of global warming!
From that article:
Mr Trump has hinted that he does not believe in man-made climate change, tweeting that the “concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese” in 2012, but the application cited global warming and rising sea levels to justify the wall.
tweeting that the “concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese” i
That's the problem he's just regurgitating crap he read on conspiracy blogs and anti-establishment far-right websites like breitbart, infowars, angrypatriot etc that most people with a bit of sense can see are nonsense.
The same shit his supporters read , that's how ends up telling so many lies
Oh dear America, what have you done
😆 aye that's what i'm saying...ernie_lynch - Memberseosamh's alternative strategy of remaining silence because it will make Trump "easily unelectable" somehow seems deeply flawed.

So do you think it's right to ban news organisations from press conferences.
Private off camera press briefing, why give privileged access to those who have constantly sought to undermine you ?
I thought the issue was the normal press briefing had been replaced by the private one.
Since Spicer said only dictatorships ban media a few months back would that means he's saying trump is a dictator?

😆 aye that's what i'm saying...
Yes I almost found it funny too when you claimed that everyone should stop criticising Trump because he will "easily make himself unelectable" if he is allowed to rule uninterrupted, but then I realised that you were actually being serious.
seosamh77 - MemberWhy? Is the constant whining doing anything to trump? Is it hell, apart from in the echo chamber of the largely irrelevant "left".
seosamh77 - Memberstrategy is simple, he'll easily make himself unelectable.
I still have no idea btw why you think criticism of Trump is restricted to the "irrelevant left", perhaps you are filling in for ninfan whilst he's away. But don't bother explaining seosamh, I'm starting to find your arguments as daft as ninfan's and chewwy's.
selective as ever ernie! 😆 but you crack on.
I still have no idea btw why you think criticism of Trump is restricted to the "irrelevant left"
Quite.
Given that millions more voted otherwise than for him, and the Republican support itself is crumbling and contradictory (even within his own Cabinet), that's an awful lot of people that you're calling "irrelevant". Don't you think you're being just a teensie-weensie little bit arrogant?
Seosamh are you in a competition with ninfan and chewwy to see who can post the most laughing emoticon?
You're not actually laughing out loud are you, I suspect simmering with anger is closer.
😆 just not interested in playing your selective point scoring game, like I say, crack on.
More laughing! Have you started dribbling as well?
oh good yin, 1-0 to you! 😆
Yes, you did say. I read that. It wasn't that long ago so I don't know why you think we need reminding. Anyway...

Care to deal?
I know exactly what I said. but seemly youse are completely missing the point, but crack on.
I don't quite understand why you keep telling me to "crack on" (whatever that means) but as I read it, your claim was that it is only "irrelevant lefties" who were opposed to Trump.
As that's clearly not the case (my point and explanation which you seem to have completely missed), care to deal? Or just type another yugely meaningful instruction?
BTW: "seemly youse" Come again?
😆
I thought the issue was the normal press briefing had been replaced by the private one.
What exactly is a 'private briefing' with the press? Having been privately briefed are the huddle of invited reporters only allowed to print and broadcast the White House's announcements somewhere that the BBC, CNN etc won't find it?
Focus, narrow in, one point, one point, one point, question, question, question, gooooooaaaaallll! 😆 I've been here long enough you know!
