But you chewkw are one of the most consistently and wilfully mendacious people I have ever had the misfortune to come across.
Reading your drivel feels like its actually making me stupider by the letter, and I have a genuine anxiety for you that you actually believe it (which can't be healthy in the long term).
Your dysfunctional relationship to truth and honesty means that the only doubt in my mind is whether you are "fractally wrong" (at every possible scale) or "not even wrong" through a failure to understand the question.
Most people agree that you can have your own opinions, but not your own facts.
But you don't seem to know (or maybe care) what those words mean.
You are like an infant in a bath full of excrement throwing it at the walls and drinking it, but when people object, you demand that everyone else explains what you're doing wrong in painful detail, including referenced facts and preliminary sketches.
Which you then ignore with a flourish containing more excrement.
I've known the word "troll" for years, but I never really understoood the full depth and meaning of the word before I read your writing. So thank you for expanding my breadth of experience, before I go off and reread the thread about that blocking script.

In Swedish statistics it would be at least 6 rapes because there were 6 distinct acts . And here is the modern problem: "The internet now give anyone instant information, true or false" And because of that, anyone can be (or thinks they can be) and 'expert'
However, the TRUTH is somewhat different. Using Google you can find pretty much any 'evidence' to support any statement. From lizard people running the Uk to how many smarties you can eat before you die. Literally anything.
But putting up one such 'fact' does not make it True. Our courts have a system to find the Truth. It's based upon making a complete case based on multiple sources to find the most probable result (and even that is not foolproof).
It is the weight of evidence on one side or other that makes something True or False, not a single fact or altfact or whatever.....

That requires the poster to be genuine in their beliefs. Pressed into placing a bet I'd have to go with not genuine in this instance. Which in itself raises some worrying questions.
It also requires the poster to have some sort of ability to recognise when they are wrong, otherwise it's just taking turns to shout at the internet.

These trolls take delight in with nonsensical argument or in deliberate winding up of folk and venting their hatred. As they don't get the bans they deserve then blocking them is the only answer. In THMs case I have had him blocked since my return and I am told he continues to make snide comments after many of my posts. I find this particularly pathetic of him.

I believe that everyone can change; blocking someone would mean I would never know about it.
Plus I can't be bothered to set it up, and I'm old enough that I don't get quite so riled up about some words on an interweb forum.

I agree with THM, ie I find ignoring Chewwy supremely easy. In fact I would find it an insufferable chore to read his posts with the same diligence which so many obviously do. Occasionally I make an effort just to find out what all the fuss is about, but I usually give up as I find them unbearably tedious as he invariably tries to draw attention to himself with relentless inane comments designed to provoke reaction.
The problem imo isn't Chewwy though, and I think it's to STW's credit that he is allowed to continue to posting - tolerance is an important virtue which should be valued.

Not talking about normalisation, just quieting the noise down a bit so we can get a real sense of what he as actually all about. Give him enough rope.
It'll happen regardless, news runs in cycles, like I say people will get bored jumping on everything all the time.

To be honest TJ, THM often says things that I find disagreeable or think are utterly wrong on every level but they are rarely "stupid".

I agree with mikewsmith, "he can't be allowed to get away with the normalisation of lies". It would be extremely dangerous if he was allowed to do so. Every bigoted and/or false statement Trump makes should be challenged. Giving up would play right into his hands.
Which is probably why he is so prolific with his lying, he's hoping that the sheer multitude of lies will create fatigue and people will eventually give up. The final triumph of lies over truth.
Why? Is the constant whining doing anything to trump? Is it hell, apart from in the echo chamber of the largely irrelevant "left".

Trump is facing monumental opposition and criticism, not just within the US but globally.
I don't think it's doing him much good. And I'm sure he would much rather that it all went away.
But can you expand on your alternative strategy of "giving him enough rope"? If everyone goes quiet he's going to hang himself without doing any damage?
