Wait until the righties start on him. The Republicans don't like him either.

You realise that's a fake account, right?

I assume everything about trump is fake 😉

As for the handshake thing isn't he just trying to do his domminance thing that he did with May, Abe better watch out, is usually followed by some humiliation at the next press conference where condemning trump's latest policy gaffe becomes damaging...

Again, you are blindly swallowing a media narrative.

Which I guess explains why Trump ignores the mainstream media in favour of the "alternative" media, such as Rupert Murdoch's global media empire.

Rupert Murdoch-owned outlets get only US questions at Trump-Japan press event

"President Trump only chose media outlets owned by conservative mogul Rupert Murdoch to ask questions during Friday’s joint press conference with Japanese President Shinzo Abe."

Welcome to 2017 :

War is Peace

Freedom is Slavery

Ignorance is Strength

Alternative Media is News International.

I can understand why Trump appeals to you so much ninfan, he represents the triumph of dishonesty, lying, and misrepresentation of the facts, all things which over the years you have shown on here to value greatly.

So on Twitter @realdonaldtrump has 24.6M followers and @potus has 15.2M.

Proof he's more popular as a businessman than as a president.

I hope Trump tries that aggressive ego posturing handshake routine with Putin as i imagine he'll find himself thrown on the floor with his podgy arm twisted behind his back and a knee in the kidneys for good measure.

Yup, as no verified thingy.

Just fun to dabble in nebulous facts.

Well, it's 100% fact now as I saw it on the internet.

Trump should be presented in association with as many "non-facts" as possible. That's what he is presenting to us.

Just post tweets from that account every day or so and it'll be fact regardless of how much of a lie. Seems to be how it works.

Jambalaya when and how do you say Obama banned immigration from Iraq ?

Wasn't it about the same time as the Bowling Green massacre?

Yes one of Obama's actions was a direct result of the well reported Kentucky incident but that was no ban. Just some extrime vetting of a well defined target group because he knew what was going on.

I just saw on Facebook that Donald Trump's wife is dead inside. Literally.

I see no reason to question this information.

Ah yes, the dreaded Liaonang, the uglier sister ship of the Admiral Kuznetsov. Its name strikes fear into the hearts of, well, Chinese pilots and engineers mostly
Yep it may be ugly but it can sure cause a few major panics for the enemy if it goes into action. Oh hang on, nobody needs aircraft carrier nowadays when the range is so near that a cruise missile can easily be used to "microwave" the lot. Alternatively the aircraft carrier can use to "petrol" the Japanese whaling and fishing fleets, then see if Japa will turn vegetarian or vegan. 😆

Oh ya, Japan do have a new aircraft carrier, unlike the Chinese 2nd hand carrier, but the question is how many cruise missiles do you need to sink a modern day aircraft carrier. 😛

Not a minute goes by where the victims are not in my thoughts. May god bless them and all who sail in them.

Trump was planning to give people attending his inauguration a candle to lit in memory of the victims of the Bowling Green Massacre but due to the huge number of people turning up he had to cancel .

Yep, it might sink in an inconvenient place. Seriously, it's as alarming a prospect as our QE class will be with no planes on

I doubt they'll dare let them out of port with no subs to protect them, aircraft carriers are expensive but that pales into nothing compared to the cost of the fleet needed to support them.

Hah.

Morgan: “This is why I’ve never read a single word of Harry Potter.”

Rowling: “Because you had a premonition that one day the author would roar with laughter at seeing you called out for your bullshit on live TV?”

Morgan isn't arguing with her, he's arguing with causality 😆

I'd say so yes. It depends on the charities supporter base and goals. They're not all fluffy genuine altruistic organisations.

Maybe some hard "right" religious US non profit, or something that relies on government grants for income. I'd be interested to see the RBLs reaction if he did try to "hide behind" them.

Uh oh. I made eye contact with some Breitbart mentalists on facebook. They're really pissed off because the Hamburg airport evacuation refuses to be terrorism related, and the subway gas attack was invented by another right wing terror group, sorry, news outlet.

Seems like it's not a good idea to be a tourist in [s]Trumpton[/s] Trump's America and seem to be well-off:
https://boingboing.net/2017/02/09/trump-wants-to-reinstate-and-e.html

Civil asset forfeiture is a perfectly foreseeable outcome of the overbroad War on Drugs: it allows the cops to seize your belongings and charge them -- not you! -- with being the proceeds of a crime. Then it's up to you to figure out how to prove that your cash, car, house, or other belongings are innocent, otherwise the cops get to keep your stuff and use it to fund their operations.

This is especially useful when it comes to amassing budgets to buy things that the cops don't want to ask for in public: that's why Chicago cops stole millions from mostly poor Chicagoans and blew it on surveillance gear (they did this in LA, too). It's hard to see how there'd be a surveillance gear industry without this legalized theft. The NYPD steals so much through forfeiture that it says just adding it up would break their computers (it's even worse in the Bronx).

It's an irresistible temptation. City attorneys invite the town cops to seminars on maximizing the haul of desirable goods, advising the police to keep a wishlist of cars and other material they'd like to steal, so they can be on the lookout for citizens in possession of same to seize from. It got so bad that the CBC issued advice for Canadian to help them avoid being robbed by American cops while on vacation.

Civil asset forfeiture is a clear abuse of power and authority, it is legalised crime committed by the very people who communities look to for protection, the fact it can happen in a supposedly modern democracy is staggering. But it has been going on a lot longer than Trumps political career.

Looks like a good way to raise funds for things for the [s]mexicans[/s] [s]brown people[/s] immigrants, you know walls, camps, gas chambers etc. Keeps them off the books and away from the eyes of those pesky liberals.

As MSP says, the improper use of civil forfeiture was running rampant under [thanks a lot] Obama.

John Oliver did a piece on it.

At least though it will distracct prople from the fact that el'Presidente was discussing national security at dinner

It gets better-would any president be so insane, as to discuss his response to N Korean missile launch with Abe in front of the members of his golf club, even letting them pose with the guy that carries in the Nuclear Codes and posting his pic to facebook?
