Is that a screen grab from Sunday night's John Oliver show?

On Monday, White House counsellor Kellyanne Conway said Mr Trump had "full confidence" in Mr Flynn;

ah the dreaded vote of confidence. 😆

Mr Flynn denied that he and Mr Kislyak had discussed US sanctions and Vice-President Mike Pence also denied the claims on his behalf;

look like Mrs Pence is going to be disappointed 😉

In assuming that Flynn will be investigated further

Did he discuss sanctions with Russia earlier

And did any Russian money find is way into Trump's campaign ?

Yep tiny hands mocking the security services coming back to bite him in the ass.

Of course with Flynn gone I suppose that means that Bannon has even more control...

Petraeus? 😆

Also, I'm guessing we're all just swallowing the media narrative again. Sheeple.

I believe several leading republicans are currently deleting tweets about people being careless with classified docs as the waiters were reading most of them at dinner (oh and having all the phone cameras that were pointing at them to light them up)

I see that desperation for a Trade deal

That'd be, uh, interesting. TBH Petraeus would probably have been a good choice if he hadn't taken a shit down his own career.

Flynn had already been edged out of decision making in favour of Bannon , Kushner and the inner circe 'allegedly'

Was it National Security staff leaked the info on Flynn?

Trump really has alienated a lot of people in the secret/civil service and whitehouse staff
coupled with all the embarrassing leaks of his car crash phone calls

His stupidity is costing him greatly

guy on r4 suggesting European Intelligence agencies are being "guarded" with the US Intelligence because they are not sure they can trust the Trump administration!

Sounds fair, he seems to have few morals and no friends (or fear/idea of upsetting people) could quite easily see him having no issues bashing somebody one week and trying to be friends next. Time for her maj to get the big grown up cutlery out.
I'm more worried about his 3 big fans.

American intelligence agencies are being guarded with what they disclose to the Trump administration because they don't trust them...

An NSA official told the New York Observer it was holding back some of the "good stuff" from the White House, while one Pentagon worker said: "There's not much the Russians don't know at this point. Since January 20, we’ve assumed that the Kremlin has ears inside the [situation room]."

Moby (yes, that guy) has posted this on his Facebook page:

after spending the weekend talking to friends who work in dc i can safely(well, 'accurately'...) post the following things:

1-the russian dossier on trump is real. 100% real. he's being blackmailed by the russian government, not just for being peed
on by russian hookers, but for much more nefarious things.

2-the trump administration is in collusion with the russian government, and has been since day one.

3-the trump administration needs a war, most likely with iran. at present they are putting u.s warships off the coast
of iran in the hope that iran will attack one of the ships and give the u.s a pretense for invasion.

4-there are right wing plans to get rid of trump. he's a drain on their fundraising and their approval ratings, and the gop and koch
brothers and other u.s right wing groups are planning to get rid of trump.

5-intelligence agencies around the world, and here in the u.s, are horrified by the incompetence of the trump administration, and are
working to present information that will lead to high level firings and, ultimately, impeachment.

i'm writing these things so that when/if these things happen there will be a public record beforehand.

these are truly baffling and horrifying times, as we have an incompetent president who is essentially owned by a foreign power.

-moby

Well considering all teh leaks coming from the WHitehouse, Priebus is obviously struggling

that creepy Miller guy is on the up though, after his weekend rounds warning everyone about the huge 'voter fraud problem' 🙄

Hes the kind of sycophant with a complete mastery of alternative facts Trump seems to like

Of course they are - they have to, Trump threatened to reveal the truth about the moon landings, Roswell and 9/11.

You lot are going after Steve Bannon now? 😀
So all those dramas about President Trump have no effects so you lot go after his advisors?

I wonder how will it work when the eyes are turn on the oppositions/opponents' advisors. See if opponents' advisors can stand the heat ... should be fun. 😛

It's almost like they are somehow linked.

Serious talk now. Is there anyone lucid and logical who can argue the side of Trump et al? Talking with the current proponents in this thread is like arguing with a toddler. I don't for a minute think all Trump supporters are slack jawed yokels, so please can someone step forward?

Cmon, 4 weeks and he's already had senior advisor quit, has any president been so close to impeachment so soon?

Trump said he didn't know Flynn had discussed sanctions, now spicy says he knew weeks ago....

Miller his new mouthpiece was special this weekend too

Chewkw another Goldman Sachs to be appointed next week to secretary of state, swamp draining is not good speciality

Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaa!

What a ****ing shambles.

When are the swivel-eyed neo-fascist loons going to realise that the swivel-eyed neo-fascist loons they choose to represent them are unfit for office? Unfit to run a small business, in fact (at least one that doesn't rely on government collusion to succeed). Obviously they won't, but enough grown ups will, and then we'll get back to something resembling the real world.

I can sense the cracks spreading already and it makes me chuckle a bit inside. All over by the end of this year with any luck. The nutters can have their 18 months making tits of themselves in the limelight and they will have achieved nothing.

Well if it happens I assume the Democrats will ask for pence to step down before any impeachment votes. Gross incompetence within a month, casual disregard for national security, the worry would be the centralised role of bannon and the son in law now.

I see the Trump haters are still living in "impeachment fantasy land"

So far he's had all his appointees accepted by Senate even if the Educatuon Secretary took a tie break, but he won.

The travel ban / extreme vetting will be enforced one way or another.

Netanyahu is there today btw. Expect strong action in support of Israel

Clock's ticking, boys.

You had your tantrum. The adults let you think you'd got your way. Now the adults are going to take your toys off of you. At least when you've had enough rope to really hang yourselves.

Better start that war quick.......

Why not jamby, how is he going to get his travel ban in? His 90 days he needed to work stuff out will be up soon, is he not working stuff out? The court case will be another humiliation for him.
Overwhelming support of Israeli policy might be popular with some but not the rest of the world these days.
On impeachment added to the list blatant disregard for security the dinner stunt will haunt him for a long time, whos phones were pointed at the docs in the table? Which waiters heard what?
So what did he know about the illegal approach to the Russian ambassador? He knew nothing? Incompetence. He tapped his nose and knew nothing caught out.
Strong rumours of Russian influence will not leave him.
Anyway after a short absence what's your take on the last few days? I see he has no real choice but to either discipline /sack Conway or ignore the rest of the government on ethics.

Bless em, the far right just can't get the staff!

Find someone who genuinely represents your views and inevitably they turn out to be incompetent, chaotic and utterly unfit for office.

The best kind of self-fulfilling prophesy.
