True mike, bit harsh Frank!
Only a little harsh.
The attempted trolling and provocation, pretend malay background and glue-sniffing induced gibberish is.....pointless.
Or challenge the law using using the law after all laws are man made. 😆frankconway - Member
... he either accepts or walks or is impeached.

Why are youse engaging the chewy? Do you all have a death wish?
The logic is simple. President Trump is democratically elected but the opposition losers just refuse to give up. 😛mikewsmith - Member
Given the mass logic fails in his posts any threat would be mitigated by him quickly shooting himself in the foot in an attempt to work out how to disagree with everyone.
That's not very nice to say ... 😆frankconway - Member

Trump tweets...
"Sen McCain should not be talking about the success or failure of a mission to the media"
1 hour later
"Ryan died on a winning missing (according to General Mattis) not a failure"
Then responds to appeals court, see you in court. Yo dawg, I heard you like rulings, so I'll see your court in court so you could rule while you rule.
Trust me it is not harsh at all. True. You should express your true emotion more often after all that is who you are, and if you cannot even express your opinion then what's the point of interweb? 😛frankconway - Member

He is fighting against the law, if he really doesn't like it he can take legal avenues to change the constitution of the US, it's kind of simple really.
'See you in court'
Yep, reckon that sounds about right 🙂
to be fair it's probably quite confusing for him, he must still be looking for the out of court settlement option
'See you in court'.......again...
FTFY Donald
Don't they have any kind of adversarial system?
If a British PM tweeted that kind of nonsense they would be taken apart in PMQ's QT or just the normal media.
edit: the washingtin post seems to be doing just that.
Federal appeals court rules against Trump; ban not reinstated.
Supreme Court here we come.
Unfortunately for Trump, his own preferred candidate for the vacant SC position is against the ban. There's a few appeals courts to go through before it gets to the Supreme Court though.
@mikenewsmith - changing the constitution is a long winded process and even if he gets an amendment through Congress it still has to be ratified by a majority of the individual states (I think it's 2/3rds have to ratify it)
I thought this was very interesting in the guardian article:
Also in the opinion, the judges wrote that “it is well established that evidence of purpose” from a case’s context can be used in court – meaning that the states can cite Trump’s claims and tweets, for instance about his preference for Christians and call for a “complete and total shutdown of Muslims”, as admissible evidence.Trump’s long history of controversial statements, the court suggested, can therefore be used as legal weapons against him.
Edit to my post above: an amendment to the constitution has to be ratified by three quarters of the states so currently 38.
😆to be fair it's probably quite confusing for him, he must still be looking for the out of court settlement option
It was odd that he said see you in court to a court
I think his main issue is going to be proving there is actually any danger from these nations - mo deaths- and that it is not unfair - he clearly warbled on about preference for christians.
There is a certain irony to him becoming the most powerful man in the world and then having even less freedom to express views than he did before as they will be held against him.
You reap what you sow...
Or not, as the case may be
WHo knew trump voters were moronic turkeys voting for christmas

😆
I had been wondering whether we were all being suckered by [s]Trump[/s] Bannon as all the protests and getting the courts to oppose him were part of the bigger plan, but it does appear that he really isn't that clever.
SEE YOU IN COURT
don't forget to bring your tax returns (stolen from a twitter reply)
I note that he hasn't retweeted this one from @potus (yes I am watching his twitter feeds for the lols).
In other (oldish) news, I don't think we did this one, which came up on my FB today:
WHo knew trump voters were moronic turkeys voting for christmas
Though from an electoral POV Trump voters in California are an irrelevance.
true but its odd* that they would vote for someone so obviously going to do policies that would harm them
Its also pretty clear he is in violation of the emoluments clause - perhaps the house want to use this threat to control him?
* i mean stupid
true but its odd* that they would vote for someone so obviously going to do policies that would harm them
As the article said, they assumed the immigration thing was just bluster.....and donations were probably made on that proviso.
Well in that case they are definitely far less stupid than i thought 😉
I did read it BTW

C'mon ...
I love the way Trump seems to use "politics" as the reason he's being blocked in his tweets. Er, petal, you're the President of the United States of America, "Politics" is what you do, it's your entire raison d-etre, you moron!
And as i have said before, his Playground Politics is now coming back to bite him in the ass. Far from achieving great things, he'll come to nowt, as he just gets mired within petty party in-fighting, often from his OWN party.......
I've never thought Bannon would be able to influence real change. He seems to have spent his recent past being a gigantic internet troll, and does anyone equate internet troll with man of action? I mean it's the antithesis - to go from sitting round in your underpants shouting spite at the internet all day, to being the architect of change in the world's largest economy? Seems like a stretch.aracer - MemberI had been wondering whether we were all being suckered by Trump Bannon as all the protests and getting the courts to oppose him were part of the bigger plan, but it does appear that he really isn't that clever.
Could be completely wrong, of course, and his seat on the national security council is very real. Just feel he's not equipped for politics as the art of the possible so will become marginalised.
yes he moaned about politics and said he would take a court to court
Not the sharpest is he
he's reducing the office of POTUS to a global laughing stock
I think its a good thing
even hillary is trolling him now !
wotsit hitler is gonna throw his toys and get impeached soon
now, about pence....
Now he's having to backtrack on China/Taiwan
Trump backs One China
Maybe he should have listened to some more briefings.
Maybe he should have listened to some more briefings.
He calls his own shots, largely based on an accumulation of, well, something.
Donald Trump, putting the MOR into MORON as POTUS........ 😉
Rosie O'Donnel tipped to play Bannon on SNL this week 😆
Apparently Trump wasn't pleased with Spicer being portrayed by a woman, so an absolute gift to them!
Trump / Congress will change the law to make the ban work in the future and create new vetting procedures - the latter being his main election pledge - to achieve his objectives. This is all a bit if a side show really and is playing to Trump's rhetoric that the "liberal establishment" is responsible for weakening US security (note US judges are political appointments)
Obama banned all immigration from Iraq - what Trump has done is extend the list of countries with the added controversy of effectively cancelling existing Visas/Green Cards
Obama banned all immigration from Iraq
Oh no he didn't...
But I think Breibart agrees with you anyway.
Obama banned all immigration from Iraq
Liar.

I'm not angry, just disappointed.
Going with the theory of adding a lie (at least one) in every thread posted and people will get fed up bothering to even raise them anymore?
"I'm not angry, just disappointed."
vg.
Jambalaya did you know that was untrue when you posted it ? Cos ninfan will believe you if you say it was a mistake .
In other news Spicer mistakenly named Atlanta 3 times as the scene of Islamic terrorism , the only bombing there has been by Christian terrorists at an abortion clinic.
I'm just waiting for Jamba to start plugging Ivanka's clothing line.
If ever a post needed an image Jamie it was that one 😉
its very hard to tell what jamby actually thinks/believes and what he knows is lie given most of what he says is factually inaccurate.
Its not really worth pointing out he was wrong as he is STW very own altfactman
even hillary is trolling him now !
I noticed that last night as @Law_and_policy tweeted it
3-0
I laughed 😀
jambalaya you really are turning into a pantomime villain with your sudden appearances on threads which inevitably result in a chorus of boos and hisses.
It really is a sad state of affairs when jambalaya courts derision on a daily basis, Chewwy endlessly churns out inane gibberish, and ninfan acts as if he's back in the school playground taunting anyone daft enough to engage him in conversation.
Why oh why ffs, can't we have the odd half-sensible right-winger who provides a half-coherent argument which at least stimulates some sort of vaguely interesting debate.
I refuse to believe that jambalaya Chewwy and ninfan represent as much as can be expected from the right-wing spectrum of British politics.

We just went down the road that boris, gove and farage lead us down. Sorry to say, but aye that's about where were at. Make it up as you go is the philosophy here.
Which is fine is you are look ahead and thinking, but really nah it's just reactionary incompetence what's happening.
it'll be funny in 4 years time, when america comes to it's senses, and britian is standing at the sidelines excluded from the EU, shout but what about the special relationship, to the next US president! (that's assuming they don't come to the revaltion that trump is full of shit anyyhow before then.)
