The fact that certain people of a weak constitution who don't have a sense of humour get upset about that is just gravy, its quite categorically their own problem and character flaw, not anything that I set out to achieve.

Although it seems to be you, that has had an extreme reaction to the criticism Trump has taken. I can't remember this much butt hurt from the lefties on here, over the shit talk about Obama.

You'd have been a brown shirt, masturbating to beer hall political violence.

Keep it up Ninfan, das Reich needs you! You vainglorious twunt.

Predictions...
Trump will be stifled by Congress, the Senate, the courts and the constitution
Turns out true.
Trump will fail to deliver on his policy
True so far.
Trump will become more frustrated and angry
Looking true
He will have a cloud of scandal and corruption hanging over hime
True

Those were some of the predictions made. Thankfully the republicans have an amount of self preservation, when it comes to doing what Trump wants they are voting to save their skins.

S'funny - you're quoting predictions made after the same people categorically predicted he would never be president 😆

In fact, what's really amusing is that your predictions on Trump are looking so much like climate models - just keep making lots of different ones and then try and forget about all the ones that Turned out wrong 😉

Here's another prediction that someone made:

Go on, what you going to do now? Hit me with another fivethirtyeight headliner saying that according to polls, Hilary is actually president

Actual bona fide climate change deniers! Wow.

And this is the worst thing about the trump presidency.... the gloating of idiots. "We won! We won.... so that means everyone has to do what we say!"

Politics isn't and shouldn't be like that - and thinking it does/should marks you out as having the intellectual credentials of a toddler.

Well, it's true that the Doughnut hasn't finished crashing yet - it's turning out to be a slow-motion horror show rather than a quick merciful release.

I can't think of one single thing that he claimed he was going to do, that got him elected (by a minority), that he has succeeded in doing.

No wall.
No travel ban.
No "healthcare".
No new job generation.

I do realise though that your purpose on here is not to support Trump, but rather to wind people up from the anonymous security of your bedroom as you vent your uber-trollist nonsense.

I expect a response from you to this of course, as you seem particularly fevered just now and so I'll let you have the last word.

Why cynical?

Remember this:

Yes I am thanks.

Do you believe in "pollution"? Or that that just a theory too?

You don't have to "believe" in climate change to understand that allowing the coal industry to dump a load of toxic cr@p in rivers is a bad thing. The protection was already there, and he removed it. An active step to allow the coal companies to pollute.

Do you support or oppose that Ninfan?

Doesn't that show that he's willing to actively remove even basic environmental protection measures for the benefit of the fossil fuel industry? Having understood that - do you think his opposition to climate change legislation is based on his understanding of the data..... or something else?

Some angry Americans out there 🙂
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-07-06/npr-declaration-of-independence-tweets-labelled-propaganda/8683240

The United States' public radio broadcaster has faced accusations of spreading propaganda after they marked the Fourth of July holiday by tweeting the nation's Declaration of Independence line by line.

For the past 29 years, National Public Radio (NPR) has broadcast on-air readings of the declaration.

This year, the NPR Twitter account decided to do things a little differently but the exercise was lost on many.

Clearly unaware of what the tweets were, a number of Twitter users slammed NPR for tweeting "trash" and accused the organisation of trying to push an agenda.

"Propaganda is all that you know how?" Twitter user John Lemos, who has since deleted his account but whose tweets were screenshot by Winnipeg Free Press reporter Melissa Martin.

In response to his comments, anonymous donors began sending money to NPR and various other media and charity organisations in Mills' name so he would receive the confirmation emails.

Mills, who describes himself in his Twitter bio as a "blackballed media journalist thanks to left wing/feminist job lynch mob", threatened to contact his lawyers about people using his details to make the donations.

Well, he's gone and stiffed a load of Americans out of free healthcare and seems hell bent on closing abortion clinics and shutting down the field of climate research.

The depressing thing is that a lot of commentators over the pond view all of these events as successes.

I see mini-Trump has confirmed the accuracy of the NYT story on his email exchange arranging a meeting with Russian govt proxies last June.

https://twitter.com/DonaldJTrumpJr?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor

The email says the dirt on Clinton would be supplied as part of the Russian govts support for his dad. Jnr enthusiastically arranges a meeting at including Manafort and Kushner (in mid-election)...

Couple of days later, out come the Wikileaked DNC emails.

Of course, any claims of an effort by the campaign to collude with Russia to influence the election result are #fakenews

.

The 'treason' word seems to be getting bandied around a lot Stateside.

I love how he instantly disproves the earlier statement about Kushner and Manafort not being aware of the content of the meeting. By showing they were CCed into the email chain. 😀

How seriously dumb do you have to be to commit this kind of stuff to email anyhow?

Part of me does wonder if they are deliberatly letting them have enough time to all collectivly deny it before dropping the next one. Great tactic as it's taking out some serious big players in his administration. If the family shield goes (and is up on charges) the short lists for replacements will be getting shorter.

Trumps approval ratings have stopped falling since they got rid of spicer and stopped doing live press briefings on everything under the sun, hes also been a lot more restrained with his twitter tantrums.

Hes still popular with his core and the majority of republican voters,

but republican politicians have been denying any Russia collusion on Trumps behalf for some time now Im betting there cant be many who arent wishing that Pence somehow gets a promotion

I dont get why these patriotic folk are turning a blind eye to the russian collusion two things srping to mind here

1. Its not political party thing its an integrity of the nation/democracy thing

2. What on earth would these Trump supporters , alt-right , and rebublicans be saying if Hilary had won with the least voted and then to have been shown to have Russian contacts, she denied, to help her win?

Hypocrites

It would be hard to get more unpopular, probably about right that there are 35% who think the press are all fake and Trump is their saviour but that is just his core, not the republican party as a whole - many struggle to get behind him for moral reasons and others don't approve of his policies.

When charges start I see some more falls in popularity, collusion with the Rissians is not popular.

Yep and it's a split that will keep them stuck unable to pass legislation or make progress, the left is also a coalition of various groups which is where they have struggled in the past. This may be the spark that splits the republicans in the US along with the UK they are probably one of the few remaining 2 party systems where the only choice is A or B. Listening to some of the commentary on healthcare they are so split that one side needs to give up on principles to get anything passed.

As for the Trump family, hopefully the court rooms are waiting

crazy thing about healthcare is that obamacare was so watered down from what was intended (originally by bill clinton) that its probably as good as the republicans could ever come up with,
Yet theyre obsessed with bringing it down after theyve painted it as socialist evil....... which has actually helped millions, whilst still enriching insureres is part of the reason they dont have a clue what to replace it with

and we all know that Trump didnt know it was 'complicated '

Sums it up really, anger isn't enough to deliver. Saw it here in Oz with Tony Abbott who spent most of his time as PM behaving like the leader of the opposition telling you why they were bad rather than what he was going to do about it. Blaming everything bad on what had happened before, you get a short time to do that but not much or you just look weak.

President Trump is doing well IMO coz most people like his style of management.

All those talks about Russian connection are laughable as people know exactly well nobody can actually influence their voting choice.

The opposition is just trying to establish their "credibility" by trying all the tricks in the book. As for the media they are merely trying to stir up their own self worth by putting thoughts into the people. I think the media know they are slowly becoming obsolete as they are confronted by the unknown. A President that likes to tweet. 😆

Are you saying they are stupid or just that they do not believe reality or that they would not believe it were it all if we swapped the name Trump for clinton?

Its obvious something went on between them and its obvious the russian intervened the only question is to what degree and how successful it was.

You just cannot have your POUTU working with a foreign power [ and your greatest foe] to get elected.

For those of you befuddled by Jamby, Ninfan and Chewkw - dont forget this sort of shit has precedence.

During the war many Germans loathed the Nazis but still held Hitler in adulation - he was seen as seperate from the Nazi party - his percieved aloofness insulated him from the growing unpopulatity of the Nazis. Ian Kershaw has noted this about Trumo (I wonder if the supporter of Oxbridge elitism... Jamby... will scoff at Kershaw) ,... as have other commentators.

Ullrich’s new Hitler book offers valuable insight on a leader such as Trump. Ullrich expands on the theory of “working towards the Führer,” first proposed by British historian Ian Kershaw in a 1993 essay, and developed in his own two-volume Hitler biography, Hubris (published in 1998) and Nemesis (2000). Kershaw’s thesis holds that Hitler’s aloofness as a leader meant that Nazi officers, party functionaries and ground-level civil servants essentially had to anticipate his policies. As Ullrich writes, such lapdogs “were not just the willing executioners of Hitler’s ideological postulates: They drove racist policies forward.”

There’s a scarily similar structural deficiency inherent to Trumpism. Trump is consomethingely aloof. When it comes to politics and statesmanship, it’s accurate to say he has no idea what he’s talking about. What’s more: He expresses no desire to learn. Instead, he spins his ignorance as a virtue, making it an integral part of his Washington-outsider persona

They don't think it's true because they don't trust the sources of the information. The people that are telling Trump supporters that the Trump is happy to take help from Russians (and at the same time breaking the law, but let's be generous and suggest that they perhaps didn't know that) are the same people that Trumps tells them are telling then lies.

Why would you believe a source that "everyone" knows can't be trusted? To a Trump supporter it makes perfect sense.

So The Washington Post or CCN or the New York Times can bash on about it until they're blue in the face, makes no difference

Hopefully some of what they are investigating will result in either impeachment or criminal charges.

Impeachment is a political process though, do you really think the republicans will make themselves look "that" stupid? As to get rid of their own man when they control both houses?

I guess it's not impossible, but it seems pretty unlikely nevertheless

The people that are telling Trump supporters that the Trump is happy to take help from Russians (and at the same time breaking the law, but let's be generous and suggest that they perhaps didn't know that) are the same people that Trumps tells them are telling then lies.
i assume they can read the e-mil it is clear they thought they were meeting russian govt sanctioned contacts.

there has to come a time when they put down their politics and embrace the facts .....surely.

Until there's actual evidence of actual law breaking....
even then they will tread carefully

van you imagine the law suits trump would start chucking about if impeachment proceedings were started?

the reps still have the problem of trumps factproof base, who the reps need too

The **** better fire up his lawyer team, well hardly a team with all the work they've been doing, more of a league

President Trump will be in office for a min 8 years

A bold statement from someone scared to accept a bet on Trump not seeing out 1 term.

From PMJ's link

The disclosure follows the administration's suggestions over several days that it supports reviewing climate science outside the normal peer-review process used by scientists.

WTAF are they proposing to use? Guesswork? A wet finger in the wind?
