Must be 'cos there's been a small invasion from London to disturb the peace and tranquility of Snowdonia. Not sure whether North Wales was really ready for an explosion of southern enthusiasm and the repeated declaration of 'So just shut-up, 'cos you know I'm right' ... not even the rain has dampened his exuberance!

Fortunately Mr Elfinsafety doesn't seem to have realised what 'cae de geg' means ๐Ÿ™‚

Although he might be about to learn as some fool has told him that there's an England - Wales footie match on tonight - expect the equivalent of the London riots to develop in Conwy this evening!

Hope you're enjoying the peace and quiet on the forum ...

Please tell me you're taking him to the pub to watch the footy.

There's a bit of form when it comes to people traveling to Wales from the capital, causing a bit of a stir with the locals ๐Ÿ˜‰

Someone obviously said it's too expensive to take an elfin' taxi, you'll have to take the elfin' bus...

In my experience most of the 'locals' around Conwy are English anyway.

Has he actually ridden a bike up an actual mountain?

I have. There will be pictures at some stage, can't upload owt at the mo though.

So tired. Just bin for a 50-miler road ride from Conwy, down to Betwys-y-Coed, then up to Capel Curig, downed a Full English Breakfast then along the Ogwen Valley and back along the coast. Courgette and mushroom risotto followed by fresh wild blackberry and apple crumble for dinner. ๐Ÿ™‚

I know you're all missing me, but rest assured I will be back next week to keep you all enthralled. ๐Ÿ˜€
