Funny, I never get them here, but I often get them using Flipboard, but that’s possibly because that just drags articles in from a multitude of different sources.

I'd have put a squillion pounds on your post saying duckduckgo. Has there been a falling out? 🙂

I was redirected an Amazon advert in Spanish a few times last week with an "OK" box that I didn't click on for fear of installing something kak that I didn't want on my phone. Had to "close all apps" to get out of it. A right pain in the arse.

On my laptop opening STW still slows everything down to a crawl and switches the laptop fan on to 11.

The only device that works half decently is my Ipad. . . .

Yep, the ones that are two pages and the back button just keeps going from one to the other...close the window and start again.

Must only be happening because they no longer value my privacy.

Would have posted about it sooner but the submit button has been spasmodic in function recently.

I still enjoy a good game of thread selection roulette though. Click the one I want, but who knows which one is actually going to open up!

I'm getting them regularly using Chrome on my Android phone but not currently (but have many times in the past) using Chrome on my Windows 10 desktop.

Yep, it's got so silly over the last few weeks on Chrome for Android that I've had to resort to downloading a 'special browser' just for STW.

I assume this is being delivered through ads somehow. I get it intermittently using Chrome on Android and it tends to be on multiple sites that appear to have similar ads.

Never happens on my PC because I'm an adblocking monster trying to deny income from my favourite websites.
