Hi Guys,

A stupid decision in the workshop last week ended with a small cut on my ankle last week (2/3cm long). There's not much flesh in that area so it opened up pretty wide. I went to A&E and had it glued back together and they said no riding or running for two weeks and sent me on my way.

One week later I'm still getting a fair amount of clear liquid weeping from the wound. I'm having to change the dressing everyday. The wound itself is not red, not hot and there is no pain.

Is this normal or should I be popping back in to get it checked over?

Thanks in advance.

I'd book an appointment in the minor injuries clinic, at the very least you'll get to stock up on some more dressings!
