First heard Ólafur Arnalds last week on 6music - It was one of those a stop what I was doing just to listen, then pause radio and listen again online.
I then learned I had just missed a tour and they / he was played near here in the last wee while.

Olafur Arnolds is one of my fav headphone listens along with Lubomyr Melnyk, his new album was released a few days ago (both artists on erased tapes label)

Wanted to like it. But the vocals are just a bit whispery. Nice voice when she actually sings instead of whispering though.

It's OK, but not much more.
Its going something to be slightly less interesting than a coldplay song.
I means it sounds okay.
Its musical.
But thats about it, bland and really really dull.
To the point that the video was more interesting and that was just two lapse of a circular stairwell.

Pleasant enough, I wouldn’t want to listen through a whole album in one go, and I’d need to be in the right mood.
