All the time me.

Sometimes I think I think to much. Sometimes I think I don't think enough.

I think I spend more time thinking about thinking. Than i spend thinking about what i should be doing.

I did think to put this in the chat forum which is a nice surprise.

I love thinking; but it’s got to be balanced with plenty of doing things in the present. There are quite enough theoretical people in the world.

Do you think they think you think only what they want you to think?

I've never really thought about it before. Good question.

thinking is wonderful - those who don't think are quite empty. its the key to life.

as for thinking about getting a dictionary as someone posted on my last thread - it never crossed my mind 😆

I don’t think, I day dream or zone out. Both of which are much more enjoyable in my opinion 😀

I am the king of indecisiveness when I see something quite pricey that I fancy buying. This month's life changing decision... Elite Direto! 😆

Or one person thought and said and did and nobody else thought to stop and think about it.

I think a lot, my whole ride to work is spent thinking. But I generally have a lot to think about.

Can't imagine not spending at least a few hours a day thinking.

Whilst I don't 'buy into' mediation in terms of the whole body cleansing and sitting silently for 30 minutes a day etc, I do absolutely buy into the idea of giving yourself "headspace" via doing an activity that occupies you almost subconsciously thus giving you time to do nothing but think.

Such as cycling a flat gentle ride through the open woods or something. Something you can almost switch off and just let your mind have at it. You can rarely do this in the home. Walking round parks works. It's great to just get it all out of your head.

Try not to do it whilst driving, that should take your full attention.

Depends on what you're thoughts are. These days I really enjoy the opportunity cycling gives for thought - its why I never enjoy company on a ride, I'd never plan to go on a group ride and while I enjoy meeting other cyclists on ride when our paths cross, if our paths converge I find myself changing my route - the company crowds out my thoughts .

However when I had a job that had too many resposibiities (and too little influence over them) then I preferred cycling in circumstances where thoughts couldn't intrude - the most relaxed I could be was picking my way along narrow, obstacle-riden trails because the focus required didn't allow me to think about anything else.

I find I sometimes have persist 'default' thoughts. For a long time after I'd given up skateboarding if i wasn't thinking about anything else I'd be thinking about skateboarding. I probably only rode a skateboard for about 5 years, but I thought about skateboarding for the following 15-20 years. But only when there was nothing else to think about.

That was replaced by default thoughts about welding. Which is weird as I don't weld a lot or enjoy it especially when I do.

I don't seem to have default thought now though.
