Its not even the wetness that's so depressing.Its just the perpetual drab greyness of it all. The sky has the complexion of an old pair of nickers that have been washed too many times. Perhaps that's it. Perhaps the world has been enveloped in an old saggy pair of big nickers
There is an Ark being built by some Farmer in the Downs at present... I see it from one of my trails..

why anyone would choose manchester over sheffield is beyond me.
Lovely and sunny in London, if that's any help? Might find a pub on a sunny street for an al fresco beer in an hour or two.

Sometimes I think... but it tires me out. So I stop.
Don't complain, move to Drogheda, you'll see how sunny England is (drizzling, raining, pissing, thunderstorming, you name it we had it within the past 24 hrs).

Presumably the lack of rain would explain why Sheffield always looks like it needs a wash.
