[Closed] Do you know anyone on benefits who's actually struggling?

None of my 'friends' are on benefits, but there's a fair few I know of locally that are. They all seem to have nicely (not to my taste, but very comfortable) kitted out houses. They always seem to be in the local shop buying fags by the 100 and plenty of booze.

This was compounded today on Facebook by a girl with a couple of kids, a part time partner and a council house, who to my knowledge never works, smokes loads of weed - and was bragging that, as her little girl had proclaimed that she wanted an iPad like her cousins, she was going to buy her one next week. No mention of birthdays etc.

Poverty my arse.

So, do you know anyone who genuinely struggles?
