My in laws have an extension which in on a secondary circuit with it's own RCD, will a power line adaptor work from a router on the main circuit to the circuit in the extension?

Mine worked from a secondary circuit and numerous extensions. That said I recently bought a tool to make up wired RJ5 circuits and sockets which os realy easy and worht doing once again now theres so much wireless congestion.
